Like many Christians, Stephen gave his life to Jesus at a young age. But for most of his adult life, Stephen wrestled with God, ticked off that things weren't as easy as he thought they should be. He married the girl of his dreams, yet he still wasn't happy. When God brought quadruplets into the fight, he had no choice but to shout, "Uncle!" and submit. That's when Stephen discovered something much better than happiness. He discovered joy.

Stephen W. Simpson has a PhD in clinical psychology and an MA in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. The author of What Women Wish You Knew About Dating and coauthor of What Wives Wish Their Husbands Knew about Sex, he teaches psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary and also has a private psychotherapy practice.
